history. Since the renovations in 1998, the charm of this
art and romantic hotel has come to the forefront even more:
warm colours, exquisite furniture and fine fabrics blend beautifully with the historic ambience and underline the architecture of times gone by. You can expect thick walls, comfortable corners, a Gothic courtyard, romantic fireplace, magnificent vaults and a welcoming service.
Today, the hotel avails of
28 stylish rooms. The furniture blends with the atmosphere of the hotel while you won’t miss the modern amenities such as satellite TV, internet connection, radio, telephone, safe, hairdryer …..
For people who enjoy beauty, finesse and relaxation
The entrance leads you into a bright courtyard and gives you an excellent view of the cross vaults, as well as the upper levels. Via a stone staircase with a wrought iron handrail, you will reach the first floor and the reception, bar and breakfast area. On the top floor, closer to the sky and the mountains, our relaxing
wellness area offers a Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath and a quiet area for total relaxation. One of the hotel’s highlights is the roof terrace, which opens up a view across the historic town and leaves you with unforgettable panoramic views of the mountains.
Location: quiet – central – easy to reach
The hotel is situated at the Isarco/Eisack promenade, right at the entrance to the historic centre of Bressanone/Brixen. The church square and the ‘Lauben’ are only a two minutes’ walk away. From the church square, you can walk along the Domgasse to reach the
gourmet restaurant Künstlerstübele Oste Scuro/Finsterwirt, which is part of our business. It’s renowned and listed in numerous gourmet guides.
Bressanone/Brixen – a town with flair, art and culture
Bressanone/Brixen is a town which offers culture, the seat of a bishop and a university, plus it has numerous places worth visiting. The small and lovely shops in the Lauben invite you to walk around and shop. The mountains and the surrounding areas entice you to hiking trips and ski excursions. Pope Benedict XVI., who spent several of his summer holidays in Bressanone/Brixen, once said about the town: ‘In Bressanone, where art and culture combine with the goodness of its people, we can enjoy a good life!‘
